Thrissur is known as the cultural capital of Kerala. Its temples, churches, cultural institutions, art centers, museums, etc make it one of the most sought after tourism sites. Malampuza

It is a village in Palakkad district near to the Malampuza Dam. The Malampuza Dam has located 8 km from the town of Palakkad. The main attractions are the Suspension Bridge, a cable car ride and Fantasy Park.

The Malampuza Garden is the only rock cut garden in South India. The garden is located in the lower hills of the Western Ghats and the entire campus is made of broken pieces of bangles, tiles, plastic cans, and other waste materials. 
Other attractions in the garden include an Ariel ropeway, rose beds, flower gardens, and fountain.

Vagamon

It is a hill station located on three taluks of the three districts Kanjirapally, Kottayam, and Idukki. The three hills Thangan, Murugan and Kurisumala are the representative of the three religions which in turn represent the communal harmony of the place.
What more, the place is untouched even today by the outer commercial world, makes it appear more sleepy with its meadows, pine forests, valleys, tea estates, waterfalls.

Bekal

Situated in the West coast of Kerala, Bekal is a small town in the Kasaragod district of Kerala. 

The giant keyhole shaped Bekal fort providing a splendid view of the Arabian Sea from its watchtowers, the stretches of the Golden sand beach surrounding the fort, the pristine backwaters, the hill stations, and watersports facilities make the town a fantastic tourist spot.

Poovar

A rare place to find in Kerala, Poovar is the meeting place of lake, river, sea, and beach. The main attractions are the golden Poovar beach, but any other activities other than relaxing are not allowed on this beach. 

The Poovar backwaters are a paradise for Birders. While making your way through the backwaters one can easily spot a number of birds, for e.g. Kingfisher, Brahmi Kite, Sea Egret, Night Heron, Black Darter, Indian Cormorant Eagle, etc.
